The End of Trimester 1 – let me hear you!
OK, so it is the end of the first trimester. I want to hear from you….BUT PLEASE FOLLOW THE BLOG RULES! remember that this blog is an extension of my classroom and we need to treat each other with respect, so be cool!
what would you like to do more in Math? Throw out some ideas that maybe you did with another teacher, or some stuff we did this year that you would like to do more of. here are some of my ideas: more hands-on math, more partner and small group work, less note-taking, less problems to do at home, more problems to do in class….more of you writing on, and using the Promethean board….oh, and more math work that is done in connection with the computer labs.
so there are some of my thoughts, now comment (follow the blog rules) and let me know what you think…..about math, not baseball!

I thought this was a really great trimester, and I had a great time. It was really cool when you showed us the math video, and I like how you only give HW on Mon.- Wed., then have in class problems or tests on Thurs-Friday. I think we could use the promeathean board more, like that little mini board you have. Its pretty cool.

That had to do with math in a way.

One thing I didn’t like in math was when we talked about averages(golf)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think that we should use the Promethean board more. In 6th grade we got them at the end of the year but we didn’t write on it much.

This trimester was a good one…. I really liked that you made jokes so our math period wouldn’t be boring.
Thanks!

But the one thing that we like the most is that we enjoy you being our teacher. After we wrote this message, we both cried about all the good times we had together… Sniffle.
P.S. We also like how you teach different style and still make learning fun.

i think you should let me do more problems on the board.
i really didn’t mean to break your pen, if anything, it was your fault!
if you hadn’t been glitching around with your computer, i wouldn’t have scribbled all over the place and broken your pen.

i also think we should do more partner work.

Me preguntaba si usted puede enderezar preguntas de la matemáticas sobre la tarjeta y entonces nosotros todo el intento para conjeturarlo, y si le conseguimos la derecha, usted nos pasa el caramelo.

Hey stinson! I thought fractions were the best because it was a lot easier and understanding. I think maybe after were done in the computer lab we should do more fractions.
